On christmas, I was lucky enough to recieve something I have been curious about for quite some time: Hair chalk. Just rub it on some damp hair, and hey ho, you've got a new hair colour!
There's better versions out there than the one I received, I am led to believe, like the Colour (color?) bug bye Kevin Murphy. I've tried it out, and it's fabulous, but I can only ever afford one colour at a time- but surely the point of this kind of thing is being able to change your hair colour every day, or have heaps of colours in at once?
I'm pretty pleased with these bad boys- the only problem is that they can make my already brittle hair even more so, resulting in non compliant hair when you're trying to style it. Lucky for me, I'm a fan of an explosive hairdo. I dare say if your hair hasn't been ravaged by years of dyeing, it'll hold up just fine.

Underrated Products: Crimping irons
I think my appreciation for crimping irons has gone a bit too far. It's gotten to the point where if I even have five spare minutes before I head out of the house, I will crimp. It will invariably happen.
It's just such a nice texture! Running your fingers down a crimped section is a great way to while away a lazy afternoon or a particularly boring lesson.
I've found you've got to be careful about crimping, though, or it can quite quickly look like your head's just exploded, which is a bit avant garde I suppose but otherwise undesirable.
Otherwise, go for gold, I say. If Betsey Johnson is doing it, why can't we??

Underrated Products: New Zealand themed fabrics
I am interrupting my Lilo and Stitch viewing to show you this fabric I am about to turn into the best/worst coat of all time.
Patriotism: Americans may wear stars and stripes all over their bodies (especially those infamous jeffrey campbell litas) but I dunno, I love sheep. If Jeffrey made a shoe with sheep all over them, I would consider. Or out of this fabric.
Either is acceptable.
Who doesn't love a bit of rugby or a scrum or two? (Me)
See you suckers when I am looking appropriately New Zealand friendly.
XOXO
